A treaty between the Ute People and the United States government opens the San Juan Mountains to prospectors and settlers. Not all of the Utes are happy about the new agreement.
When an outfit of prospectors are found murdered on the road to Del Norte, the cavalry sends a patrol from Fort Garland, but when the patrol is ambushed, those left alive find themselves in a fight for survival for Four Days Outside of Del Norte.
